I'm a designer. I strive to create ideas, products and knowledge that answer tough questions. I've lived, studied and worked around the world, and I'm currently pursuing an M.Sc. in transportation design at the ArtCenter College of Design in California.
I'm a teacher. I've spent much of my life teaching kids everything I love about art and design; it's taught me that a significant part of what I do as a designer is engaging people and explaining complex ideas.
I'm a life-long car-lover, but maybe not in the way you'd expect. Car designers understand that systemic change (good or otherwise) is about balancing reason and emotion; need and desire; purpose and soul.
...professors and clients automatically expect me to be able to do what I do. My campers think it’s magic. Where do you think I’d rather be?
